At East County Performing Arts Foundation, we believe in the transformative power of the performing arts. For more than 25 years, our sister organization—East County Performing Arts Center—has been nurturing students in Brentwood, proving how the arts can inspire confidence, discipline, and creativity. The Foundation was born out of that experience, carrying forward the lessons we’ve lived and expanding them into a broader community mission.

Our mission is simple yet powerful: to provide access, support, and resources to young people passionate about the performing arts. Through scholarships, training programs, and community initiatives, we break down barriers so that every child has the opportunity to explore, learn, and thrive. The benefits go far beyond the stage—studies show that involvement in the arts boosts academics, strengthens social and emotional learning, and builds the leadership skills children carry for life.

But we also know that access to the arts requires space to grow. That’s why, in partnership with the City of Brentwood, we are leading the effort to build a 500-seat performing arts theater and event center. This cultural hub will not only host performances, concerts, and community gatherings—it will fuel the local economy, create jobs, and leave a legacy for generations.
